Reflection Lake is northeast of the Tudor road and Boniface intersection. The lake, surrounded by houses, is home to beavers, ducks, geese, trout, and a stopping off for bigger critters like moose. In the fall of 2006 Reflection Lake was one of the sites used for the British Broadcasting Companies documentary on urban wildlife (click here for more details).
The lake is also used by children and adults for boating and fishing. It is one of the few lakes in East Anchorage.
Reflection lake is part of the Chester Creek Watershed and the Upper Chester Creek subwatershed. The lake has been designated by the municipality as “marginal wetland.”
Due to a combination of reasons it appears that marginal open space adjacent to the lake may soon be developed.
